The Kapatiran activity is one of the most important events that happens in Assumption Antipolo during the first few weeks of the school year. This year, the Kapatiran happened from July 1 to July 5, 2019. Not only do the Grade 7 and 12 students celebrate sisterhood and the joy that it brings, but it is also the Assumption way of welcoming the freshmen in the challenging yet rewarding world of high school.

The week-long event started with the Grade 7 students receiving tasks, which uphold values and lessons that guide the freshmen throughout their high school journey, from their Grade 12 partners. They were also given a chance to have lunch together to develop the bond they have with each other and to prepare for the week-end Culminating Activity.

The Culminating Activity is the final day of the Kapatiran week. It was a fun-filled day for Seniors and Freshmen alike as they came to school wearing iconic costumes that represent sisterly love, showcased through a mini-fashion show on stage. They also went to centers to participate in activities, varying from the Trust Walk game to Treasure Hunting. They wrapped up the day with gift-giving that made the event more memorable, since the gifts embodied Kapatiran memories in the form of tangible objects.
Although the Kapatiran lasts for only a week, friendships made will be nurtured and will bloom into something special-- one that is worth keeping even out of the bounds of school
