Last July 13, 2019, the Assumption Antipolo high school officers kicked off their school year with the Leadership Training, organized by the SCAA officers. This year, the event’s theme was, “Empowering the Youth to Lead with Boundless Love.” The officers listened to talks about servant-leadership from Therese Lumibao (The current SCAA President), Renee Salvador (Grade 12 Batch Representative of Batch 2019), and other AA graduates who were officers in the past.

To promote sisterhood, the SCAA officers launched a trial of the “Ate” Program. Grade 12 officers were paired with the Grade 7, Grade 11 with the Grade 8, and Grade 10 with the Grade 9. This project aims to help younger officers balance their duties and academics, with advice provided by their older counterparts.

After a break, the officers were divided into 12 groups to complete the centers. Groups went against each other and raced to see who could finish all the centers first. They then assembled in the Multi-Purpose Building to have a game of Agawan Base. Lastly, the officers proceeded to the Mini-Theatre to make their pledges for the whole school year, which would be to serve the Assumption community with boundless love.
