The Assumption Antipolo community celebrated the Feast of the Assumption of Mary in the Multi-Purpose Building on August 15 where they commemorated her assumption into heaven.

The clothing ceremony was held before the Eucharistic celebration on the same day, where the Grade 10 students donned their gala collars with the assistance of the Grade 12 students. The ceremony symbolizes the tradition, practices, and responsibilities being passed on from one batch of students to another.

After the mass, the Assumption Transformative Educator awards were given to outstanding teachers of School Year 2016-2017 which are Mrs. Mary JaneMabini and Ms. Luisa Fajardo from the Filipino and Science departments, respectively. This special award is given annually to teachers who exemplify the teachings of the Assumption and its quest for transformative education, and for showing enthusiasm, great effort, and making a difference in the lives of the students.
