Assumption Antipolo Celebrates 44th Foundation Anniversary

Written by: Gabrielle Pineda

Assumption Antipolo celebrated its 44th year of founding last September 11, 2018. The entire school community gathered at the Multi-Purpose Building to celebrate a thanksgiving mass sponsored by the Grade 11 students, with the theme: “Lord, Empower us to Reclaim Our Joy as Kin of your Creation.” The theme is also in-line as we celebrate September as the Stewardship and Ecology month.

Students were reminded of the values upon which our school was built on. Presiding the mass was Fr. Noel Magtaas, the brother of the school’s principal, Ms. Grace Magtaas. He shared a message of going back to our roots and how important it is to have a strong foundation in our beliefs. He also reminded us how the Assumption education continues to strongly impact the lives of students around the world through the values it promotes, such as Christ-centeredness and Care for God’s Creation, even after 44 years since its beginning.
